Unfeathered Notes

D'you know what? I just watched Love and Monsters for the first time since it originally aired and... it wasn't that bad.

Maybe it was because I knew this time around not to expect to see much of the Doctor, so I didn't spend the whole episode waiting for him to turn up for the big adventure. But I actually quite enjoyed it.

Possibly more than I enjoyed The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, actually, because that took a hell of a long time to get going and I didn't really care about the characters. Plus, loads of Rose and I'm trying, I'm really trying, but the more I see of Rose, the more she grates on me.

Anyway. Only three more episodes and I'm done with S2 - at last! :-)

The only thing I remembered about watching this the first time is that I came away from this episode loving David Tennant after being a little unsure at the start, because I'd never seen him in anything before.

This time, I came away in love with David Tennant (and yes, that is a deliberate change) because he's just so adorable! Right from the start: how yummy does he look in the Ninth Doctor's leather coat???? And how sweet, asleep in bed?
