This is the ficlet I wrote for the first challenge of the first round of [livejournal.com profile] kink_las. I have to admit I'm not entirely happy with it and it could definitely use some work, but it looks as if I'm not going to get round to doing that work and since it's been posted already, I think I'm just going to leave it as it is. But I wanted to post it in my fic community as a record so here it is:

Title: Not a Fairytale

Author: [livejournal.com profile] unfeathered
Pairing: Buffy/Spike
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Rough sex
Word Count: 250 words
Spoilers: Set during Season 6
Disclaimer: Not mine
Summary: This isn't what Buffy used to dream of

Many many happy returns to [livejournal.com profile] janedavitt and er, here's a little something I wrote for you. I actually wrote it for your birthday last year but I hadn't posted any fic at that point and I lost my nerve.

So here you go. Better late than never, I guess. :-)

(Sorry I can't write Jim/Blair. But this is at least Giles/Spike, a pairing I will always associate with you!)

Title: Behind Blue Eyes
Fandom: Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Author: [livejournal.com profile] unfeathered
Pairing: A touch of Giles/Spike
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Word Count: 323
Spoilers: Season 4 of Buffy
Summary: Ever wondered what made Giles choose that song to sing at the Espresso Pump?
Beta: Unbeta'd
Author’s Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] janedavitt's birthday.

Nicked off [livejournal.com profile] fandom_me

1. Comment to this post with the name of a character that I have written in fic. Or geeked out about.
2. I will comment telling you the following:
a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
b. One of his/her best traits.
c. One of his/her worst traits.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
e. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character*.
f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

(By the way, I'll be a bit absent this evening, as we have friends coming over for dinner, but I should be back for an hour or two before bedtime.)

ETA Sorry, but obviously I don't have time to reply to these right away (friends are due in 45 minutes) but I'll try and think up answers while I shower and post them later on. :-)
