Mixed (but mainly very positive) reaction under the cut.

On the one hand: boring - very, very boring - little miss perfect daughter.

On the other hand: her existence gave a very cool bit of insight into the Doctor. And how cool was it that all the stuff we've been writing in our fanfiction and in our RP games about the Doctor and how he feels about Gallifrey and fatherhood etc. etc. etc. is now canon? I mean, have they actually been reading Whoville???? *g*

Did like the twist about 'generations' not 'years'. Don't get how the General was so old, though.

Did not like the twist of Jenny reviving. The writers have been watching too much Star Trek. And she was okay for this one episode, to give the Doctor that story, but I really don't want to see her again, thank you very much.

Donna was cool again.

And David Tennant was amazing. His acting was impeccable. He made me cry.
