Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my last post - you guys are great!

And I am SO much better today. The sun is shining, it's HOT, and weirdly my hayfever seems a bit better. The sinusy side of it, anyway.


Took Jack into town this morning on the bus (because he gets really excited about going on buses, even I do think £3 return for two ten-minute journeys is a ridiculous price to pay) and we were lucky and didn't have to wait long for a bus in either direction. We bought a sandwich and yoghurt in M&S then went on to the big playground in town and Jack played there for ages. There were several other children about his age and he made friends with one of them called Lewis and generally had a wonderful time.

Then we went and sat in the shade and had our little picnic, then went and fed the ducks and swans in the big pond, then came home. Had a fabulous time.


Also, I woke up this morning with two drabbles in my head due to having watched The Girl in the Fireplace last night and started thinking about how it might have gone just a little bit differently for my RP AU Jack and Doctor (where the Doctor dropped Rose off on Earth after The Christmas Invasion and went and picked Jack up instead).

So, anyway, Jack's down for his nap and I'm about to sit and finish off those drabbles and immerse myself in RP for the rest of the day. So if any of my RP-playing friends would like to actually play with me, please do come and take one of my open threads (Lucy and Ten are still sitting there feeling unwanted!) or let me know if you'd like to play with anyone else! :-)
