I've started knitting again. I more or less stopped when I started writing again, but lately I've suddenly got the urge to knit again. I finished off the hat I'd promised
jadesfire2808 in time to give it to her when she visited the other week, and since then I've started a very basic scarf (1x1 rib, which I can do without looking or thinking and can therefore knit even whilst watching programmes I need to pay attention to - like DW *g*) and yesterday I began a cute little sleeveless hoodie for Jack which I can also use as a stash-buster (i.e. using lots of wool I've already got and thus reducing the storage room necessary for my wool when we move).
And since I forgot to take a picture of Jades' hat before I gave it to her (because I'm out of practice at these things!), here are some pictures of other things I've knitted.

Finger puppets I made for some of the mother and baby group babies' first birthdays.

And some more.

A cuddly caterpillar I made for one of them for his first Christmas (we did a Secret Santa so I only had to knit for one of them).

And the piece de resistance: a shawl I knitted for my Nana's 95th birthday last May. This is the most complicated thing I've ever done and I'm really, really proud of it.

Close-up of the shawl.
Hayfever's still bad today. I'm still dopey because I couldn't sleep - again. Grrr.
