Angel/Jack update

Well. It's just after 11.00 am and this morning I have already beta'd a story for mad_jaks and written 1,000 words more of Angel/Jack. And it's not even nap-time yet!

(Which is good, because Andy I really need to go through the conveyancing papers today and that needs time when Jack isn't around.)

But anyway, I think I'm getting towards the end of the fic - perhaps another 500 to 1,000 words, which will make it the normal sort of length of my stories (4,500 to 5,000 words) so I might actually get it finished today - first draft, anyway.

And now I need to go and give Jack some attention because he really, really does deserve it. He's been great today so far. :-)

ETA: 2:00 pm Well, it's not quite finished - I've just got to figure out exactly how to end it - but the urgency is gone and I'm going to leave it till this evening now. It's 4,700 words long. I wish I could write PWP a bit shorter than that...! *g*

Yay! Writing is love and I'm really looking forward to the Angel/Jack story (though I'm still happily reading Angel/Lindsey *grins*) :D

Well, I've done another 500 words now and the sex is over, so I've just got to finish it off, really. Then, obviously, tidy it up, which will probably have to wait till this evening. And jadesfire has kindly agreed to beta it when I'm done, so. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long. :-)

And it's good that you've got Lindsey to keep you company in the meantime! *g*

Yeah, it is! Though tbh, there were 1,000 already written, from last year. So it's 'only' 3,700 I've written in the last two days... *g*

Lol- that's an amazing amount of writing you've done- you should be super-proud.

I've tried tossing all but the boiled down premise and rewriting it, but.. it doesn't work. I guess I also just don't like AU for the sake of AU. If I'd finished it and posted it before "Sleeper" it wouldn't bother me, but now it's too similar and like I copied the idea.

Ah, right. Well, I suppose at least you don't have to feel guilty for not having done it! You've got a really good reason! :-)

Oh, and I am super-proud! It was a really great feeling to have finally got rid of all that stuff that was bursting to be written down. Shame it couldn't actually carry me quite to the end, but hopefully I'll come up with something!
