Writing about screwdrivers

Does anyone else feel really silly and innuendo-ey every time they mention the Master (or the Doctor) getting out their screwdriver, or holding their screwdriver, or, really, doing anything with their screwdriver?

Well, tbh, it's RP I'm talking about really. My Master's been whipping out his screwdriver (except I try NOT to use that phrase!) a lot more in Whoville than he ever has on the Valiant! *g*

But yeah. You just cannot escape the imagery. It's just... there, right in front of you, grinning at you...

Oh yeah. Though it was pretty much obvious as soon as the Master produced his new improved laser and much bigger screwdriver in TSoD. *g*

Which is why it is my personal canon that the Master has a small dick (and has had in all his regenerations) and that an awful lot of what he's done has been down to sheer penis envy. *g*

I'm not familiar enough with previous regeneratons to comment, but I'd love to see fanfic where the Master (or pretty much any character) was under-endowed, or even normal for that matter. One of my fanfic cliche pet-peeves is the proliferation of massive organs.

My personal reading of the the whole "tape-measures never lie" is that Ianto doesn't measure up, but that could be my Ianto!hate talking.

I'm not familiar enough with previous ones either, really, but yeah, I have read the odd bit of fanfic and yeah, they do always seem to be HUGE!

I... have no opinion so far on the Ianto thing. :-)
