It is a gorgeous day over here. It's so warm, I've got the kitchen door open, and have just been standing in the kitchen making chocolate chip mint cookies while Jack played in the back garden. How perfect is that?

We are also possibly getting somewhere with selling the house. Still waiting to hear back from the estate agents but we have one firm offer - rather low but from someone with no chain - and a possible two more coming up...

So. Life is good right now. :-)


ETA: Oh, and I wrote another 450 words of Master Plan yesterday. It's getting there. Slowly but surely, it's getting there. :-)

It is gorgeous here too - odd I swear I heard a hideous weather report last night *assumes puzzled face* - so as the kids haven't gone back to school yet and/or have days off from work we are cracking on with some garden tidying!

Hmm, the forecast for here is very much as it is - sunny and warm. It's really lovely for February, isn't it!

You could come and play with my Doctor again. Or Spike - he's only got two threads going (for a change *g*) and they're both likely to take a while and not throw up too many difficult things. Or Kurt, if you really want to - he's sort of been sent home to see if I can come with anything interesting to do with him, but I can pretend he hasn't gone yet if you want. :-)

The other three are in threads that might throw up plot points. Sorry.

Yup. I'm in Anchorage, Alaska, so it's cold (12F/-11C) and spring is a looong ways away.

The cookies are yummy. It's a Nigella Lawson recipe - I got her new book for Christmas and have finally managed to tear myself away from the computer long enough to try some things out!
