Not going to do a whole big review here because there was a lot in this episode and I think I need to watch it again before really making up my mind about it, but a few thoughts beneath the cut.
1. Ewww. Gross gross gross. Almost enough to make one think about becoming a vegetarian (again).
2. I get why the alien was moaning so much, but it really did get on my nerves - and more importantly on Andy's nerves, and he was upstairs! I had to turn the sound down and then I couldn't hear the dialogue.
3. I love Rhys.
4. I love Rhys and Jack together. They are hilarious.
5. I did feel I was getting Jack/Gwen shoved down my throat this week. I don't actually think that was the intention - I think it was supposed to be like other people said about the scene in KKBB, about Jack letting Gwen have a life and envying her that life - but particularly with the scene with Jack and Rhys in the car and the rather long and melodramatic scene with Jack stopping Gwen going after Rhys into the warehouse, Jack/Gwen was what I was getting.
6. I would have liked to have seen at least a glance between Gwen and Owen on one of the several occasions when Rhys was getting worried about her having it off with Jack. You know - no, I'm not shagging Jack, but I WAS shagging the little weasly one over there!
7. I liked the way Jack was all "Oh, for God's sake!" when Gwen gave herself up for Rhys, but then came right out himself when it was Ianto that was threatened! *g*
8. Poor alien.
Okay, sod it, that's long enough to be called a review. *g* But a score is definitely going to have to wait.
