Colour, smell, song, movie, image, anything. It can even be a material thing, something that you look at and want for me. What do you see, in every day or not, and think of me, even for the briefest of moments?
I think blue because of the layout, but my brain is weird when it comes to associations. And the oil because I think I thought about your Master fic on the Valiant ^^
Well, yeah, I know, but neither of them are a part of your life so you probably get a bit bored by me going on about them. :-)
And this is obviously a case of us both spending too much time staring at each other's default icons! *g*
(Andy had his hair cut the other day so it's all short and spikey again and when he put on his leather jacket to go out yesterday, I was all, "Gosh, you do look sexy...!" *g*)
Well, blame Becky for the neck thing - I just liked the picture, she was the one who put Lick Here on it and gave me the obsession too... *g*
And wow. That's just... wow. I mean, I know I am kind of to you what Becky is to me, if that makes any sense - the person who really drew me into the fandom - but... wow.
Well, we wouldn't have got to be friends, for a start. :-)
How did that start? I was just trying to remember. I know I offered to beta for you - what that what sparked it off, or had we started talking already?
well, first you were so nice about correcting my grammar issues, and then you just up and offered to beta my Maggie piece, then jumped in again when I jokingly said I'd try to cheer up Becky and write a PWP (all of which just blew me away) but it was when we got into a discussion about Jack's timeline and Ellis Island being his first death that I really felt this connection to you and that this fandom might be a place where I could really BE. (If any of that makes sense)
Oh, yes, I remember that. I said I'd call you Knowledge Girl and you got all embarrassed... :-)
Well, I'm glad I did offer, because I've really valued your friendship over the last few months. Obviously friendship's not about measuring how much each person gives, but if it was, I've certainly got back what I gave and a lot more besides.
Hee, that's nice! I have to admit, I normally jump octaves a lot with him, because only about half the songs are too low iykwim, but lately, because I've been using my soprano voice so much, I'm singing loads up the octave.
Or, actually, putting him on the player when I don't feel like singing, so I just listen. :-)

And definitely Bluewater. That was the most awesome half-hour, or 3/4 hour or however long it was. :-)

And that was a good day!

And I'm off to rewatch TW 2.1 with Andy in a mo. - he's finally condescended to watch it, which is great!

And come on, you can't say something like that and not expect me to ask! Why the smell of oil?

...*dies* that's awesome.

but- honestly- you're the heart of the TW fandom for me- you brought me into it from where I'd been teetering on the outskirts and about to slip away.

and *hugs* I honestly have no idea what would have happened if you hadn't done that for me
