And on a totally different subject, I'm currently engaged in writing Ten/Jack from Ten's POV for the first time. In role-play. Nothing like a steep learning curve. *g*

(Mind you, the Jack is S1 Jack, so it's a bit different anyway!)

No! Not sad. Writers with too much confidence are horrible. Writers who can say 'I'm not sure about this' or 'what do you think of that?' are the ones with their brain-lights on.

I've no idea how terrible the fics are because I never get that far.

If it was written drunk, but beta-ed and posted when sober, that's fine. It's the unbeta-ed and drunk posted ones that are problematic. Especially when they randomly switch the characters around...
