Woohoo!

Just got back from Bluewater where I had a cuppa and donuts with smithy161! Had a fabulous time! Only went into one shop (Andy and Jack did most of the shopping while we were chatting and eating donuts) and spent most of the time sitting with Smithy and then with Andy and Jack while we had lunch at Costa's - Jack loves their tomato and mozzarella panninis, and their chocolate on a stick, and he had a big glass of milk which he drank beautifully. It's so cool being able to take a not-quite-two year-old out to eat like that! He's been unbelievably good.

Anyway, Smithy and I had a whale of a time. Couldn't stay and chat for as long I think we'd have liked to as she had shopping to do and I had Andy fussing about not leaving too late because of the traffic (though it turned out to be no worse than any other time!) but we chatted away like mad about Doctor Who and writing and RP and porn (yes, really, in the middle of Krispy Kreme's!) and it was just fantastic. I am all happy and bouncy now!

And Jen, we thought of you several times. It felt very wrong that you weren't there! We decided we need to get a video link set up next time! :-)

Mind you, now I've come down from the sugar high I'm all knackered (did not get enough sleep last night) and I've still got SO MUCH to do and I just don't feel like doing it! :-(

We did! The best kind of shopping - which involves very little actual shopping! And it was really, really cool chatting to Smithy in the flesh! :-)

Hey, you! Glad you got it all done! I'm now shattered and getting very stressed because I was going to make a cake tonight but an old (school) friend is coming round as he's only home tonight and tomorrow so now I'm going to have to make it in the mornnig. Though I might just not make it. We'll see. I'm just shattered.

Anyway, had a great time this morning and I'm really glad we made the effort to get there because it was totally worth it!
