Late birthday presents!

Been to two parties today - the second birthday party of Olivia, who's the daughter of Sarah who babysat Jack so I could go to dancing a few weeks ago, and then dinner at my parents for my birthday and my sister-in-law. And I got the Torchwood S1 and Doctor Who S2 DVDs!!! :-)

Which means I can be pretty sure of getting DW S3 and JB's album for Christmas!

Had a very nice day and feeling happy. :-)

Good, good *bounces* Did pretty much nothing all day. Well. I did watch the first two episodes of NCIS which I have been cunningly manipulated into watching (read: I've been asked to make icons and got drawn into the fandom *whimpers*) and read fanfiction and wrote a few christmas letters and studied a bit of maths for the exam tomorrow just now. Should've studied more, I guess, but I just couldn't be bothered, I'm just that lazy *nods*

I'm lazy too, still haven't done my Christmas online shopping. Though I did find an easel with blackboard for Jack. So I'm getting there slowly. Really need to get going on the cards though.

Yep, it's been a good day! Just wish I had hours and hours to sit and watch the extras! Still, Andy's being 'chief Jack-carer' tomorrow so I may have a bit of time while they're out. :-)

I'm good! About to finish up my Christmas shopping, which is kind of a miracle. It helps that all my young cousins and my niece have decided that they want gift cards. Makes things easier. ...I tend to think gift cards are cheating, but if that's what they ask for, well, OK.

Oh yeah, that definitely makes it easier! Not that mine are hard, apart from Jack - everyone else has a list, which apart from Mum's are all Amazon's lists, so it's literally just a case of clicking a few times and making a few decisions. Tomorrow. I really must do it tomorrow!

Well, it was a good day - I wouldn't go so far as to say a good week... None of us got much sleep Sunday night and both Andy and I were very short on patience yesterday and there was a lot of yelling. :-(

Really tired again today too and Jack's already got shouted at (by me) for deliberately knocking his bowl of cereal on the floor. He keeps doing that and I am so fed up with clearing it up. Grrr.

Still, yeah, there are very good bits in between the bad. :-)

Oh, I hope not! I'm dreading him turning out to be really sporty and having to go and stand in the cold watching him play!

Neither Andy nor I are at all sporty - we're hoping he'll turn out to be artistic like us. We much prefer going to shows or gigs or whatever! *g*

Anyway, we both had a much better afternoon after our naps, so the day's turned out all right in the end. :-)
