I'm knackered again today. Drama was really good last night, but exhausting and of course it meant I didn't get to bed early - and then when I did get there, I couldn't get to sleep till about 12.45. And then Jack decided to wake up at five to seven this morning. Yeah. Happy birthday Mummy.

Also, the bath is leaking so I'm going to have to take Jack round to Mum's so we can both bath/shower AGAIN. And I've got a huge pile of washing up to do, and a huge pile of ironing. And no, nobody's going to be doing those for me.

On the plus side, I actually got my morning tea made for me. And DW S1 on DVD and JB's Just So album from Andy and Jack, and some sexy new kitchen scales from my parents - I'm getting the rest of their presents at my family dinner Saturday week (because Mum's prompting my old drama group's panto this week).

And I have my pills from the doctor. :-)

Oh, also, comment notifications are taking ages to come through, so if I don't reply to anyone anywhere, that's probably why!

ETA: I'm not reading anyone's Jack/Jack fics for the moment. I'm dying to, and I'll come back to the fest at some point in the not too distant future and have some fun reading them all. But right now I'd just make myself jealous of everyone who managed to make theirs work when I couldn't. Once I've got my own sorted out, then I'll read everyone else's.

Yeah, everything in this blooming house is falling apart! Can't wait to move to one where things actually work.

Anyway, at least it means I'm going round my parents' today - always nice to actually see them on may birthday and we hadn't planned to this year.

And I'm really looking forward to all those commentaries on the S1 DVD. :-)

And yeah, it is nice to know I can have half an hour on my own while I shower and someone else looks after Jack, and a bit of a chat with Mum.

But I really can't leave the ironing. Not all of it. I keep leaving it. I got behind during Anything Goes and I promised myself I'd catch up during the five weeks I didn't have to go out in the evenings because there was no drama. And drama started again last night and I'm still not caught up and I'm out again tomorrow night!

So I'll do a bit. I have to keep it going, at least.

Anyway, off now to go and get clean - you can all stop holding your noses now! *g*

Empty Child Or Doctor Dances. Stephan Moffat is on them (I think both) as well and they are SO interesting! Actually, in general, the commentary for S1 is pretty good although Billie hasn't a clue how to do it properly.

I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet - will put it in the car tomorrow if I actually remember to take it with me... *g*

I did some of the ironing. I have things to wear for work tomorrow and the day after. And Andy's sealed the bath so hopefully it'll be useable in a day or two.
