Master Plan is go again!

So I put Jack (son) down for his nap, sat down at my computer, decided to be ruthless and cut out the (tiny) bit that was giving me grief and just started to write.

Two hours later, I've written 1434 words and have got to the end of Chapter 7, barring the coda.

I still have the very end to write, and a few little bits for the middle, and a few gaps to fill in and order of stuff to sort out. But considering how long I've been trying to write this bit, this is amazing! I'm so relieved and excited and loving my story again.

Oh, and if anybody doesn't find this stuff hot, I'm personally killing them. *g*

Oh, and I've just worked it out - just been reading Medley's Doctor/Jack donut fic (which is HOT!!!!) and now it makes sense! It was Jack who was getting in the way of me continuing my chapter, because I couldn't figure out how to make him shut up and let the Doctor and the Master go off and have sex. But Medley obviously borrowed my Jack, enabling me to cut the little conversation with him out completely, enabling the Time Lords to go and have sex!

Alien donuts rock! I am seriously in love with them. They enable me to write things I'd never be able to in an noncrack!fic. And the fact all of you like them too (and _medley_ enough to write about them!!) just makes me giddy

Yeah, that is fun! Sometimes after I post something, I'll think later, "Why did I phrase it that way, when this way would've been better," and I go back and I already changed it. Some part of my brain was looking after me, anyway!

It is, isn't it? Mind you, I still remember you saying you wrote - what was it? - 5,000 in one day on Confession Time (I think it was that)! I'm nowhere near that!!!!

Problem is, I'm writing so much at the moment, I'm not having time to read anything longer than 1,000 words or so. Hence my not having got as far as PoC yet. Hey, I still haven't finished Omphalos' New Dawn Fades! :-(

It's great - I'm so relieved, because I know there are people waiting and I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever get there!

Just give me a few more days to fill in the gaps and get it beta'd (which is going to take time because it's 9,000 words long) and hopefully you can all see it! :-)

I was starting to be scared myself! Though to be honest, I had so much of this chapter written, I knew I'd have to finish it sooner or later. Couldn't let it just languish on my hard drive forever - I want to share!
