That was good. I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than last week's.

(Though to be fair I was really ill last week and spent most of my time just trying (and mostly failing) to follow the plot. Need to watch it again!)

Nice to see Ian Gelder again (I loved him in Children of Earth) and I was totally getting Black Guardian vibes off him, so was really tickled when he started talking about other immortals the Doctor had met, the Eternals, the Toymaker and the Guardians! Spooky. I also thought he and his character were both great.

His little trick brings a whole new meaning to 'fingers in your ears', doesn't it!

Was anyone else totally yelling at the Doctor not to let the prisoner out, or at least ask why she'd been imprisoned in the first place?

I liked the way they dealt with both nightmares and mental health issues and both made a story about them and encouraged people to talk about them. I thought that was neatly done, and much better than the sledgehammer message in last week's episode.

I really liked Ryan's relationship with his friend. He may not have been around much, but he's a really good friend. I feel like he's matured a lot since we first met him.

Did anyone else think the police officer in Yas' memory might be an older version of herself (at least until it was proved that she wasn't)? I really liked the way that scene played out, though, and may have sniffled a bit at the reunion…

I liked Tahira too but couldn't really work out how she fitted in with everything?
