Progress with Connection Part 2

So, in my traditional post-Christmas 'I actually have time to think and get my head round fun stuff' headspace, I woke up this morning and started writing some Jack/Giles. There's still that second part that I never posted, because it came out way too formal D/s to follow straight on the same evening as Connection, but there seriously does need to be something in there between the first part and the other parts, where there's obviously a well-established D/s relationship. And while I'm not comfortable with the characterisation of the beginning of that second part, there's a lot of good stuff there, and so I've now written 1,000 words or so bridging the gap between the first part and this one, and am working on rewriting the uncomfortable stuff and, eventually, finishing it off too. And who knows? Maybe there'll even be more eventually? There is after all an awfully long time between part 1 in 2002 and the next drabbles set after the Year of Hell! :-)
