So we're very late watching this, and have still only just watched episode 3 but, oh my. What amazingly good fun. I loved the book when I was younger (a friend at uni got me into Terry Pratchett, but I always loved this more than Pratchett's solo ventures) but haven't read it in - god knows - well over a decade, probably two. And I wasn't sure what to expect from the TV series. But I am LOVING it.
Okay, so some of the characters (especially Anathema and God) being American threw me a little, because from memory it was such a very, very, very English book, but it's okay, it works, and I've got used to it. And it is such a stellar cast.
And oh my god, I can see now why I've been seeing Crowley/Aziraphale slash everywhere. The UST is off the scale. Hell, that scene in the bandstand! Wow.
Oh, and there were some brilliant lines in this one. I especially loved Crowley's throwaway line about the unicorn running off and missing the ark, and of course Shakespeare's "Ooh, I like that!" and stealingthe Doctor's Crowley's quote! Brilliant reference. :-D

I remember watching the trailer and being 'Well, I'll probably watch it at some point...' And then I *did* watch it and OH MY GOD. The bandstand wasn't just an argument, it was a break-up scene. (MY HeART.) Mmmm episode 3.
Anyway, I could talk about it all day (I mean, I HAVE talked about it every day for 5 1/2 months), so I shall wait until you're done. <3 And yes, I'm still in love with everything. It's the show that just keeps giving.

And heh, I know you've been talking about it a LOT, which is part of the reason I knew I needed to finally get round to watching it, and once I'm done I shall go back and read some of the things you've written!
I mean, I guess I don't *really* need to avoid spoilers, given that I know the book, but it's still instinct to avoid reading spoilers till they're not spoilers any more. Not long to go, anyway - should only be a week or two more (I'm watching with my son and we're alternating it with new Supergirl and old DW S8 so it's only getting one or two evenings a week)...

I have never known anything to consume me to such an extent. Let me know when you're done, and I will guide you down the rabbit hole!

Echoing the comment below - avoid spoilers! Like the start of S3, the show does... more than the book.

M-hm. I shall wait patiently!
