9.3 Under the Lake/9.4 Before the Flood

Wow. That was awesome. Not exactly new, with the time-loop (Blink, anyone?), but it kept me guessing right till the very end, and well. That was the fourth episode of Doctor Who in a row that I've really enjoyed, and I can't remember the last time that happened!

Though I have to say, I think a good deal of that was down to the Doctor being separated from Clara for most of it. I just don't like Clara. I can't relate to her, she's so self-centred, and all the lies. But the Doctor? The Doctor was cool.

(And yes, I may be a tiny bit biased from all the guitar-playing. I fell in love with a rock guitar-player, after all. *g*)

I'm with you. I'm enjoying this season so much more than the last! And although if any of the previous Doctors had tried playing the guitar, I'd be cringing...Peter Capaldi is really pulling it off. :)

They can't get rid of Clara fast enough, IMO.

Yeah, I am really not keen on Clara either. I'm trying to like her, because it's mostly worked with other companions in the past, but I just can't feel anything for her, she's so self-centred!

But god, yes, Capaldi is brilliant. I think he can pull anything off! :-)
