Reaction post to Frankie 1.1

Just caught up on the first episode of this (had it recorded but hadn't been in the mood for something new till tonight) and wow, that was good. I didn't expect to be bowled over by it, and to be honest probably most of my reaction is just emotional resonance with the woman trying to care for everybody else and not looking after herself and her own home, but wow, that really got me.

Also, how weird is it that the DW episode I watched with Jack earlier this evening was The Shakespeare Code? That is, to my knowledge, the only other thing I have seen Dean Lennox Kelly in, and I then spent most of Frankie trying to work out which of the two guys he was, because he looked so different! A very nice cast there, and good writing - very believable characters.

Looking forward to episode 2 now!
