I know I haven't posted anything for a while but I've been busy writing fiction instead (no, nothing's anywhere near finished because I'm a very slow writer, but I think what I've done is good), but now I've been off sick for a couple of days with a cold, I've finally caught up with everything else so have a few minutes to spend here! So on with the Buffy/Angel reviews...
I suppose I wasn’t really in the mood, but I found this a very boring episode.
The flashback to 1761 and the reason behind Holtz’s vengeance was probably more interesting the first time round, but now it seems singularly uninspired.
Gavin and his bugs were quite fun, though I can’t believe no-one identified Darla until Lilah came in. Linwood was also fun: he’s an enjoyable character. The scene with all the psychics was particularly fun, and I love the little doctor from Berlin with his little bird-like feet.
Sahjahn’s quite good fun too, and I like the way he puts on his ‘street face’ – which looks surprisingly like that of the werewolf hunter in Phases… :-) I like the way Holtz and his mercenaries take out Gavin’s team just like that.
Also fun how all the different groups turn up to worship the ‘miracle child’. I do wonder, though, how Wesley knows so much about labour and ultrasounds???
OK, so I was wrong about the Troc-lan being Holtz, because now it’s apparently a ‘convergence of events’.
Anyway, that’s about it.
