Oh god, they're changing things again over at LJ, aren't they? My icons have suddenly sorted themselves back into alphabetical order (just when I'd finally started to get used to where to find them!) and there are new formatting options at the top of my comments (which I don't need because I use html coding).

I'm assuming that whatever they're doing is responsible for the fact that I'm only getting one comment notification in three, and those at least half an hour late, which really DOES NOT HELP when you're role-playing in six different threads! Grrr.

Why can't they just stop meddling?

It's been upwards of two-three days delay that I've had in getting the e-mail notifications recently, and in one case I never got it at all. They want us to be not just logged into LJ 24/7, but have our eyes glued to it 24/7, as well. Which would kind of get in the way of, oh, just about everything that needs to get done in life.

And yeah, I know it's been a couple of days, but it's only just today that it's got really bad. I actually just got a slew of notifs, but I suspect that was in some way triggered by me going into those threads and checking on them personally. And then getting all excited by new emails - only to find they were the notifs for the comments I'd just read and replied to... :-(

That was the impression I got last week when this started happening to me.

Yeah, it's not fair. RP's really slowed right down because of this and it's boring! :-(

Yeah, I guess.

Though, actually, since you mentioned it, our RP game has had 421 posts and 22,043 comments since it opened less than a year ago - that's not an insignificant amount of traffic! But of course they don't want RP-ers. They just want to be Facebook or something.
