Feel awful today...

The almost-inevitable show week cold has turned up. Plus I couldn't get to sleep last night - too hot, plus brain too busy - it was after two when I finally dropped off and then Jack wanted his nappy changed at 3.00. I just want to spend the whole day in bed. But I can't because Jack doesn't want to. :-(

And of course it's tonight that my husband, my Mum and her friend are coming to see the show. Grrr.

Yes, the show's going really well. (Though tbh I think I enjoyed the rehearsals more. The actual show involves a lot of standing around waiting in the dressing room and not being able to go and watch the good bits! *g* It's great when I'm on stage, though!)

And actually, maybe it's not a cold, after all. Maybe it was just tiredness. I've perked up a lot - been out for a bit, now having lunch, then will try and get a short nap before Jack wakes up - I was too hungry to go to bed without lunch!

I just thought it was a cold because it usually is and one of the other cast members turned up with one out of the blue last night...

I hope you realize that whenever you say "Jack did this" I think of Captain Jack, and as a result I have a very weird view of your home life.

Actually, I do that too sometimes when I'm just glancing through my journal!

Though the idea of staying in bed with Captain Jack makes it even more attractive... *g*

I must hasten to add at this point that my son was in now way named after my favourite character. In fact, I argued against the name (which is my husband's father's second name) because so many tv heroes are called Jack. But we kept coming back to that name, and it is very right for our little boy. Like Captain Jack, he's got a huge personality - and yes, he is a flirt... Oh, dear... *g*
