Okay, I haven't actually read any one else's reviews yet, because I didn't see the ep till yesterday and haven't had time, but my flist seems to be absolutely full of squee.

So is there anyone else who didn't think much of it, or am I the only one?

I know there's an author on my friends list who hated it, so you are not alone.

Nope, you're not alone. It was about Eleventy standard. Generally meh, with some good bits, some awful bits.

I was extremely underwhelmed during my first viewing, although I was also suffering from jet lag. My initial reaction is "great idea" but the set-up was lackluster. I've watched it a couple of times since then. I still think the whole "put the Tardis into a person" premise is iffy, but that the payoff is worth it. Also, I've come to love Aunt and Uncle. (Nephew not so much. I'm just not crazy about the OOd.)

The Doctor/TARDIS scenes ARE delicious, but once House (heheh) starts messing with Amy and Rory, the dissonance between the two storylines was very jarring.

You Are Not Alone.

The ep was good or okay, but it didn't get me squeeing. It reminded me a lot of Coraline, which considering that they were both by the same writer, may have been inevitable. Also, I've never really been that fond of horror (even Doctor Who's horror elements, really). So yeah... not just you.
