Do You Like To Write? Like to write? Love writing Kink? Great! There is a new challenge, called kink_las, where you write a fanfic of at least 100 words every two weeks based on a different prompt and where all pairings, including slash, is allowed! Then they get voted on and the person with the least votes is out that week and the person with the most is safe next week till you have one author standing who wins! What do you win? A snazzy graphic and a $10 GC to Amazon or Barnes & Noble. You don't even need to be a GREAT writer! ..who will come out on top?

Okay, I'm probably mad, considering I haven't even managed to finish a single ficlet for consci_fan_mo yet, but I've signed up for the Kink LAS above, which starts tomorrow! Mainly because I really want to get writing again, not just role-playing, and I figure if there's anything I know I can write it's kink!

So... here goes! Come along and support me, or join in! :-)

You know, if that was all contained in one comm, I'd be really tempted to join. Unfortunately I just can't figure out tracking around three separate comms to join, sign up, find the rules and follow updates - and I did try.

Ah well, maybe I'll finish a challenge card and even sign up for kink_bingo sometime.

Yeah, it is a bit complicated, but they send all the updates and stuff through emails so I seem to be keeping up so far!

I just look at the list of LAS comms she's running and a) wonder how she manages them all and b) think it's a little greedy (because I'm weird that way). Signing up for that kind of thing should be SIMPLE! Or if it's not, give simple, step by step instructions that are specific to that comm.

I can't even write short any more, apparently. My Yuletidefic passed 1000 words yesterday and is barely started. So it's probably good that I'm not trying to encapsulate a kink in less than a thousand words...

Heh, yeah, I'm impressed that she finds the time too!

And yeah, I'm not good at short either. But I need to get good at it if I'm ever going to start finishing and posting fic again!

My kradam_holidays fic ended up at about 6000 words, I think. Wordcount minimum was 1000...

I should challenge myself to write some short fics or just scenes so I can finish some of my challenge tables. (I have guilt for unfinished challenge tables)

Out of curiosity, where do you sign up? I've been waiting for useful information, and now I hear they're starting tomorrow. The link for sign up goes to a list of communities that doesn't even include the kink community. I'm so confused . . .
