And when you get to the actual show, with costumes and lights and audience... I seriously can't wait. It's been 2 1/2 years since I last did a proper show. I don't know how I did it.
P.S. Love your icon. Haven't seen/noticed that one before.

Anyways, I'm sure you'll be awesome. What's the show about?
(And I only just found this icon sotred away on my computer... it's rather shiny, isn't it)

I'm only in the chorus anyway, which makes it harder to muck up - though I did get an indirect compliment from the director's husband (who's also in the show) the other day saying that the director said I'm the only member of the chorus who really acts and shows lots of life all the time... which made me feel really good! :-)
What's the show about?
It's a musical, by Cole Porter, set in the 1930s, in which John Barrowman has starred twice - which gives me a lovely excuse to listen to him singing on the way to and from rehearsals. Songs you may be familiar with: Anything Goes (obviously), De-Lovely, Blow Gabriel Blow, You're The Top, I Get No Kick From Champagne...

It's gorgeous. I may have to nick it, if that's OK? I've been thinking I need a Ten/Jack icon.

That's a really awesome compliment! Maybe if you audition for that director in future, they'll remember you.
As for the icon, there's this version too:
Both by svendra. Can't decide which I like best. Nick away!

(Loads of tickets left, if you want to come and see it... *g*)
As for the icon... Damn. They're both gorgeous. How to choose?
I'm going to have to think about that for a bit.

That's tempting, actually. I've been meaning to get out to the theatre more. Whereabouts is it?

We're doing Godspell next and Jadesfire's thinking of coming to that one, though, so maybe we could have a little meet-up! :-)

I love the way Jack looks in the close-up, but somehow the cropping makes me focus too much on Jack - I like the equality of the two of them in the first one. And DT's neck, which I've never really noticed before, but it just looks lovely in that picture!

I think it must be Utopia - in the corridors of the silo. Near the beginning, because they still have their coats on. I'm due a rewatch of those three eps soon, for research, so I'll look out for it.
