August/September Round-up Post

I'm nicking this idea off fandom_me, because I like statistics too.

I meant to do one of these at the end of August, but I never got round to it. So now you get two months for the price of one! :-)


August

August featured the very first time I posted fic, expecting not to post much more – and it all just sort of took off!

I also did episode reviews for the first three episodes of Doctor Who season 1. Yep, I was doing that much writing that I only watched three episodes! (Well, apart from the several times I watched Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords for research purposes!)

I know! It's mad, isn't it? I don't think I've ever written so much in such a short time in my life!

Just shows how much the lure of an appreciative audience can spur you on! *g*

And yes, part 6 soon. I'm going to leave it overnight and come back to edit tomorrow with a (hopefully) clear head.

Hooray for Part 6! I have no idea how you have the time for all this, especially with all your beta work!.

I like the idea of the monthly summary list though, I might copy you and becky and do one of my own.

I think at the moment it's a case of 'if you want something done, give it to a busy person'!

And of letting my son watch far too much tv, especially when he decides he doesn't want a nap at all (and yes, that is today I'm talking about it).

And I love Becky's monthly summaries - I always look at her list of titles and think "I don't remember that one" and go back and look at it again and not only remember it but love it more.

I'm lucky my kids have school and homework to keep them busy, but they've still been watching too much tv anyway. How old is your son? I hated it when mine wouldn't nap!

He's only 21 months. It's not his fault today, really - he's got a tooth coming through. But I dosed him up and really did expect him to have a good nap, especially as he was really late to bed last night because we were out, and he did snooze a bit but then did two poos within 20 minutes of each other and just wouldn't go down again after the second one :-(

He'd better have a decent nap tomorrow. Grrr.
