I am feeling very yukky with cold (though still fortunately no fever) so god knows how well I do with this, but I'm game for a laugh! *g*

Snagged off [livejournal.com profile] karaokegal:

A) Go to my fics (fandom tagged accordingly), and pick out a line or three from one of my stories. (Must be a full line, please — no sentence fragments or speech tags or other such nonsense.)

B) I will respond with which story of mine I think it's from.

C) A drabble (ficlet) to anyone who stumps me.

And when I was writing *still* writing in that fandom I once had to mail [livejournal.com profile] kethni with a snippet of something and say "Did I write this? Have you beta'd it for me?" Or have I've copy and pasted it from somewhere because it spoke to me when I read it... *facepalms*

This sounds scarily familiar - I'm fairly certain that I wouldn't be able to spot a lot of my ancient Trek fics (unless there were names mentioned) if I did this though I do remember most of the stuff from the last 2 years. Most. I sometimes find things on the hard drive and think 'when did I write that?' the one about Jack and Myfanwy that I posted recently being a good example.

So far I've been seriously blank on all the quotes. Last time I was doing much better. Here's yours:

Or possibly he's just nervous and trying to cover it with conversation.

How about Jack at some point in the 20th century...one of the big events that he knows is coming but can't stop and how he feels about it.
