Wow. I just rewatched TSoD and LotTL for the first time in far, far too long. I deliberately left it for a long time because I'd overwatched them early on, and I wanted to get my enjoyment back - and it definitely worked. They are two amazing episodes. So much going on there.

On the other hand, I spotted several things that mean I'm going to have rejig some of what I've written for the latest chapter on Master Plan. I mean, that's why I watched, because I'd forgotten a lot of the details, and I'm glad I did, and it's given me some new ideas for Masterly and Doctorly sneakiness, but... yeah. Some things just aren't going to work the way I've written them.

Still. Yeah. A very enjoyable evening of telly. :-)

I tend to like Utopia more because of the Jack/Ten scenes, especially Stet Radiation which is close to being my favorite scene ever. Of course TSOD has THE PHONE SCENE for which there are NO WORDS!

Oh yeah, I love Utopia. Jack/Ten, Jack/Martha, Jack/Chantho, Doctor/Yana - I adore Yana - it's all fantastic.

But there's a hell of a lot too in these two episodes. The relationships between the Doctor, Jack and Martha in TSoD especially, as well as the obvious yumminess of Doctor/Master. And Lucy. I've been RPing her but I'd got quite a long way away from the original Lucy (didn't help that mine was AU anyway) and I'd forgotten just how cool she was. And just... there are loads of great bits.

Which is just as well, because I seriously need to watch LotTL again for Master Plan. As well as several episodes of Buffy S6 for RPing Spike. And continuing my voyage through classic Who. Lots to watch! :-)
