I should have been more worried, shouldn't I? I didn't take that one seriously, because I really didn't think they'd go for someone young and pretty again. I mean, he's far too similar to DT, isn't he?

Huh. I was looking forward to someone older and more interesting. It's sad they obviously feel they have to continue with young and pretty to keep their teenage girls fanbase. :-(

I don't like the idea of an actor being on DW before being the Doctor (yes, I know Six was). And I have the niggling issue of wondering why other planets would have a brake down of races similar to Earth

YEs- I never under black Vulcans (ST:Voyager) etc... They could make it work, but I always wonder about it

One thing I wonder about with Ten leaving and getting this guy as Eleven. I am now utterly confused and befuddled by River Song's introduction/scenes

Why? *tries to remember* Oh, she knew him as Ten, yes? Well, perhaps they're going to bring her in again in S5? Would make sense, being a Moffat character.

She definitely recognized him as Ten and seemed to think he'd recognize her so should have met her then. (also, Eleven's so bloody young, I can't picture him *with* River Song at the ages we saw then)
