Well, so much for an extra hour in bed today. Jack woke up at 6.23 (new time). I convinced him to go back to bed for another quarter of an hour, but 6.40 is still TOO early, especially on a Sunday. Hell, even 7.40 is a bit too early on a Sunday! Still, I guess we'll acclimatise to the new times gradually over the day as usual, and get Jack to bed a bit early tonight.
Anyway, updated list:
Today
Wash and dry nappies.
Wash and dry towels.
Pick up Andy from the station.
Wash up.
Put up Jack's curtains.
Cook dinner (roast chicken and apple crumble - mmm!)
Ironing (possibly - I'm not going to fret if I don't do any).
Sometime over the next four days
Clean the bathrooms, at least the basins and toilets, because I didn't on Tuesday. (Started - done the ground floor cloakroom!)
Carve out pumpkin and make soup with the insides.
Clean kitchen floor and cupboard doors.
Plant bulbs in flowerbed.
Plant bulbs in big tubs on balcony.
Finish writing my and Jack's Christmas lists to email out to the family. Getting there...
Fnish notifying of change of address! Really need to get on with that one!
Take Jack into town to choose some wool to make him a hat, because he wants me to make him one like I made the one for 'the child'. The one I made for him three years ago still fits, but it'd be nice to make him a new one!
Start another hat for the shoebox appeal. I've got a couple of weeks for that one.
Look at clothes catalogues. I need more clothes! Started
Sometime
Finish second hat for the shoebox appeal.
Look into nurseries for Jack. Started
Sort out remaining couple of boxes in our bedroom.
Sort out the one remaining box in the dining room. (Oh, and the other one I forgot about...)
Sort out the several boxes in the living room. (Started - put all the DVDs and videos on the shelves this afternoon!)
Sort out the one remaining box in the kitchen (under sink cupboard stuff).
Sort out the loads of boxes in Jack's room. Mostly no hurry on those, thank goodness. Started - done one box!
Write out to friends and family re. change of address. Andy's written his bit of the newsletter, so I just need to write mine and do the address labels etc.
Nag Andy into putting up shelves in the kitchen and above my desk, and hooks in our bathroom. Oh, and the spice racks in the kitchen too.
