So we eventually got through it last night, with about four or five interruptions from Jack, the last being at 10:20... *rolls eyes*

And... it was good. I have to admit that superhero films are really not my sort of thing, because they have to fit so many cliches in, but I do like 'setting up' stories and I enjoyed that aspect of this one. I didn't like all the nightmare stuff, though. Maggots etc. Eurgh. *shudders*

I loved Christian Bale. He has a huge screen presence and he completely made the film for me.

Christian Bale is amazing, isn't he? I think sometimes he gets attention for being a pretty face, when he deserves it for his acting.

The Scarecrow is creepy, isn't he? But yeah, it's a really good setting-up story. And I agree on Christian Bale - he really is a very good actor. I've seen him in quite a few things recently, but I think he's at his best in Equilibrium. I've got American Psycho to watch next. Looks like a completely different character from anything I've seen him play so far.

Yeah, he didn't get to smile much in that one. He smiles a lot in Velvet Goldmine - and looks very young! That was the first thing I saw him in, but I didn't know who he was.

Do you know when you're going to see The Dark Knight?
