Thanks to Sci-Fi's 'Doctor Who Weekend', I've just watched Logopolis. I already knew what it was about as it's fairly standard reading (I assume) for anyone researching to write the Master, but it was a load better than I expected. Yes, there were the dodgy sets and effects and the stilted dialogue, but the story was good.
A couple of things struck me though:
1. I hadn't realised how like Four Ten is. All that mad energy and talking nonsense at top speed - even the "Well..." at the start of a long sentence - that's all Four. Fascinating.
2. I always remember not being able to keep up with the stories of Doctor Who when I was a child because I couldn't understand what the Doctor was saying. That hasn't changed. It wasn't the fact that I was a child; it was the fact that it's really hard to understand what Tom Baker's saying! Mind you, in this case, it's an extremely convoluted script and I still don't really get quite what was going on, but I enjoyed it and the characters were fun and yeah. I really enjoyed it.

Yes, there's a lot of TB in David's performance, isn't there? I also see PD and PT a fair bit too.

I haven't seen any PD or PT for a long time, though I have some PD to watch now. I think I missed the PT, if they showed any at all.

I see a lot of 4 and 5 in 10. He *wishes* he could be Seven.

Yeah! I have to admit, I couldn't really work out what it was he was actually hoping to achieve at Logopolis. Or was he just trying to incite chaos? Which, obviously, he achieved... *g*
