Just watched the Scrubs musical episode with hubby and... it was hilarious. Nowhere near as good as OMWF, but very nicely done and by far the best episode of the season so far.

(Oh, and who's the big Buffy fan on the writing team who thought of putting it at the sixth episode of the sixth season??? *g*)

Actually, like Buffy's 6th season, this season of Scrubs has been rather depressing, though part of that for me is the fact that Carla's pregnancy/childbirth/postnatal depression story seems to be mirroring mine with complete accuracy so I end most episodes in tears. So it was nice, on our 3 episode catchup evening, to get away from the baby blues (Carla's not mine - I'm fine atm) and actually laugh. I mean, that's what we watch sitcoms for - though this is the only one we do watch these days - to laugh!

I'm going to have to watch it again to be able to remember much about the individual songs, but the general musical-style of most of them was fun, and the choreography was great. JD and Turk's "Guy Love" song had us in tears (of laughter this time) and laughing so hard we had to pause it. And their "Poo" song sounded so much like the songs my husband makes up for our son (he always gets stuck for a rhyme and it always ends up being something like 'poo' or 'bum' etc.) that I kept asking him if he'd been on the writing team.

Oh, and Turk and Carla's song about her being Dominican not Puerto Rican reminded me so much of "I'll Never Tell" - great dancing, you two!

There should be more episodes like this.
