Wow.

Shit, I really need a Donna icon!


I love 'what if' stories. It started off feeling like a tame copy of The Wish (Buffy) or Birthday (Angel) but no, definitely not a tame copy. Definitely as good as those episodes. What a horrible, bleak image of a world without the Doctor. And I loved all the references to previous episodes, and how things would have gone differently.

About the only thing that annoyed me was Billie. (I'm sorry, I'm having real trouble thinking of her as Rose. It'll probably be easier once she's with the Doctor again, but in this one she really didn't feel like Rose, to me.) The thing was, I could barely understand anything she said! I don't know why, since I'm sure I haven't had that problem before. But it was really, really annoying.

Oh, and I missed the Doctor. A lot. Really looking forward to them back together next week.


Note: as usual, I didn't watch the trailer for next week, so please don't spoil me.

I agree with the bit about Rose, I think that she's changed, but maybe it's intentional? Being away from the Doctor and with Torchwood in the parallel universe.

Oh, I wouldn't be surprised, yeah. As I said, I'm sure it'll feel better next week with interaction with the Doctor.

Is she with Torchwood or UNIT? I couldn't make that out.

Erm, I believe she's with Torchwood, I'm pretty sure she said at the end of Doombsday in the goodbye scene that 'Torchwood has vacancies'.

Haha, I don't have the pleasure of the boxsets, I watch them on the internet, the illegal way, which means I don't have to tear myself away ;D
Although it does take a long time for them to load, ah well let's get episode eight a-loading XD

I could barely understand anything she said!
I thought it was just me... she sounded like she'd been fitted with braces (all her words were slightly fuzzy) it was odd. I barely noticed Ten wasn't there - after the non scary of last week everyone not!looking at Donna's back freaked me out *I is a wimp*

It was rather freak-out-worthy, wasn't it! Especially the bit between the mirrors, when we actually saw it - well, actually seeing it wasn't scary 'cos it just looked like a bit of plastic, but her reactions made it scary. She's an amazing actress.

And phew! re. Billie. Glad it wasn't just me!
