1. Had a really good day yesterday. Both Jack and I had had enough sleep for once, so we both a lot less stressed and a lot more relaxed and we had a really nice time together - and I finally stopped panicking about next week when Andy's away for ten days in Texas/Mexico.

2. Also been doing and reading some fabulous role-playing. Whoville has come alive again. And I've had some really interesting threads - Buffy/Romana (they really bonded), Jack/8 year-old Doctor (very interesting), Simm!Master/Delgado!Master (fascinating for both of them!), and now Spike/Ten.

3. Shame I'm back at work this afternoon and all day tomorrow and Friday. I've been really enjoying my RP! Still, I'm hoping to get on with Master Plan again, since I seem to actually have my brain back at last. :-)

4. At least I don't have to be at rehearsal till half an hour later than usual tonight, so I'll have a little bit more time for tagging before I go than I usually do.

5. Oh, also, yesterday Jack watched his first bit of Doctor Who. [livejournal.com profile] _medley_ had sent me a link to a bit of "Mind of Evil" on YouTube (because we're playing Master/Master) and Jack was fascinated. He won't ever let us watch any of our stuff on the telly while he's around, but if it's on the computer, he's fascinated. He sat through about 15 minutes of the thing - which is interseting, because we can now tell him his first Doctor was Jon Pertwee... *g*

6. Any typos in this post are due to the fact I'm typing it with Jack on my lap doing drawing...

getting Jack hooked on DW at an early age *nods* very smart!

selective viewing is probably a good idea at that age. To be honest, we've done a bit of that with our two (they haven't seen 'family of blood' yet for that reason)

well, hopefully not, but I think you'll be able to find a DVD or two of old stuff to watch together if that's the case

oh yes. I love doing that with my kids (although it's friday's here) but plugging in the DVDs is cool too. laughing at the really old effects and jumping when the monster's appear and yelling at Peri... oh wait, maybe you wouldn't do that bit

oh yes, watching with your parents again, I can see how that'd be cool. I never watched it with mine growing up. Well, we know DW's at least on for another 2 years ('09 and '10 are both confirmed I believe) so there's some hope of you watching it as it airs with Jack!

and I'd be shocked if '10 is the end of it, it's still wildly popular.

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Ten doesn't wind up being Jack's Doctor, but Eleven is instead. I assume we'll get there within a few years

It's snippets like these that form a scifi fan. I should know, it happened to me ^^
