Huge congratulations to everyone who made it to the end! (I ducked out fairly early on.) I haven't had a chance to read anything except donutsweeper's, which I helped beta and is fantastic, but hopefully will get to some of them in the next few days/weeks! I've had a quick look at the art, which again I hadn't seen except mad_jack's because she came to me for my knowledge of the Chalet School books, and it all looks fantastic!

So anyway. Congratulations to everyone and I look forward to reading.

And for anyone on my flist who doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about, the website with all the stories and art on is here.

There's some excellent stuff on there. Apart from donutsweeper's excellent one, I've been reading 'Strangely Attractive' this morning, a John/Gwen story for the most part, which I loved to bits.

Yeah, okay, obvious me is obvious, but he's all domestic in this one, but it works.. there's so many I've seen that just take away his essence, and well, that don't work for me.. an' I'll shut up now!

By the by, I'd love Whoville John to meet up with Whoville Spike at some point. Narcissism what? And I'm sure John would give him an open invite.. *ahem*

I really haven't read much John stuff - mainly because I don't read much Torchwood stuff, most of what I go for is DW. But I look forward to sitting down and reading the Big Bangs. I just don't have the attention span for something long right now!

Spike/John is... something I'm not quite sure about. I had Buffy meeting Becky's John, which turned out hilarious, and Mecca's Ianto mistook Spike for John (at first) so he knows he has a double, but I just. Don't know how he'd react.

Well, I suppose there's one easy way to find out... *g*

Well, he's still umm busy with Morgyn's Master at the mo, and I'd like to have him meet back up Jamie sometime soon.. and a few others. I'm going to take him out soonish though, and bring him back in after 'Exit Wounds'.

If you're not sure about it, then fairy snuff, just John keeps muttering and shuffling his feet in my head about vampires, but that's just him *kicks him* *g* Think he's just spoiling for a fight really. I'll let you know when he's free anyhew.

By the by, do you have messenger, or owt like that? I've just reset up my Windows Live Messenger, under sister_carrion(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk if you want a chat anytime.

Um, I do have Windows Messenger but I can't remember my login - need to ask Andy what it is when he's around.

At the moment, though, I use the gmail chat quite a lot, because I have gmail open all the time, and at work too.

We will get Spike and John together sometime later then. :-)

I've read Jades' new STT story (Hugh and Jock and Jack, how could I not?) and a great one with Harry, Jack and Sarah Jane called Pawn Crossing so far. All this great fic, so little time!
