Hello, this might seem a bit random (I found myself here via the links in your Whoville profile over on IJ). Have to say, I love your Master fics. Your portrayal of him is just amazing.

Thwack me if I'm going out on a limb here, but would you be interested in joining another rp game playing him? The game hasn't started yet, but when it does, we've got some big plot ideas which involve the Master behind them. Lots of the Earth being in danger. A well-written character would make them run so well. And be hella fun to collaborate with :)

Either way, hope you keep up with the fanfics! You've actually made me contemplate Jack/Spike as a pairing, and now they're one of my favourites.

Thanks for the info. I'm... to be honest, I'm not sure if this game is the right sort of thing for me. It seems very plot-driven and I'm not great at plot. Most of what I write (and read) is character-driven rather than plot-driven. The way I feel is that I have the tv show for the stories, and then fanfic and RP is about filling in the gaps and developing the characters and working out how they tick.

And especially with the Master. I am not by nature at all a sneaky person, so my Master tends to be an awful lot more honest than he probably should be, especially with the Doctor. And I find it hard to come up with ideas - I still don't even know what my Master Plan/Whoville's Master's back-up plan with Lucy and the ring etc. actually was. Mainly because it's not that that's interesting to me, it's his relationship with the Doctor, and Jack, and Lucy, and the drums.

I also suffer from a severe lack of having seen any old-school episodes recently.

Um. I don't know. Whoville is actually my only experience of RP so I don't know quite what to expect from your game, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that if it involves the Master being cunning and sneaky etc., I don't think I could play it.

I'm open to persuasion, but I thought I'd better lay my cards on the table.

I might, however, be interested in coming in as Lucy... She fascinates me, and she's a much less daunting character.

The plot-driven part just means that us mods will be providing things for players to join in on if they want to, and even then those will be more in the background.

Because I absolutely agree about the character-driven part being far more important, especially in writing. It's one of the reasons I adore RPing, especially in a fandom with such amazing characters beating at the heart of it. That's definitely where most of the emphasis will go.
