Because this is EVERYWHERE on my flist, and it's fascinating.
(And I really like the list of questions. Definitely useful as a guide for what to think about. Or even prompts for what to write about.)
1. Go HERE to generate 10 random numbers between 1 and 100. DO THIS FIRST.
2. Choose a character that I write or have written, be it a canon person, an OC, or whatever.
3. Comment with the character and the numbers, and then I will answer the corresponding questions from THIS LIST.
I'll try and get answers done tomorrow evening, if not before. (As well as editing my Jack/Angel fic.)

And boy this meme is hard work. Very, very interesting, but hard work!

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Aahh, that’s a long time ago. You expect me to remember that far back? [Jack grins, infectiously.] Their names were Franklin and Sheila and they were fantastic parents. Loyal, warm, caring… they both worked – hard – but they were always there for me and Gray too. They were great.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
A nice ass. I’ll do anything for someone with a nice ass.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Oh, I argue. Ask Gwen. Or Owen. Or… well, anyone, really.
83. What are your pet peeves?
People having qualms about doing what needs to be done. And the pathetic need this century’s people have to categorise each other.
42. What are your religious views?
Oh, that’s an interesting one. [Jack sits back, folds his arms and looks contemplative] People need religion. They need something to believe in. Or someone. In my case, it’s someone. I’m not much good with believing in God or anything like that. I believe in a real, physical person. Even if he did abandon me. At least I know he exists.
I don’t think there’s life after death. Except for myself, obviously. But everyone else: you die; you’re gone. For good. Live life while you have it.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Doing Ianto. [Lewd grin.]
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Fellatio, cunnilingus, rimming.
Keeping my team in check, and – actually, I’m probably bad enough at that to count for all three things.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
Well, there’s that nice ass thing… Seriously, looks aren’t actually that important. Just that sense of excitement, that thrill, when you know it’s going to be good. And compatibility. That’s always useful.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
Oh, yes. I’ve had my share of both.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
[Jack grins slowly, obviously considering what kind of rude reply he can give to this, then gives in and answers properly.] I like to be sociable. Bars… sex… it’s about people. Making a connection with people. But I also need to spend time on my own. There’s that standing on roofs thing. That’s a big thing with me.

This is as good as a fic, almost! :-) Thanks!

It was really difficult at first, but once I really started trying to answer as Jack - and realised I didn't actually have to answer everything seriously! - it got a lot easier! :-)

Ideally, someone strong, powerful and exciting, who will challenge me. Or someone I can mould to my satisfaction. Someone I can bring out the potential in, someone I can make great. [Lucy shrugs slightly and smiles somewhat ruefully] A project, I suppose.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
No. I’m an only child. Mother couldn’t have any more children after me.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
Mother. Because she’s been there my whole life. She’s always looked after me and Daddy. She’s strong and capable. And Harry. Of course. Because he’s my husband.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
I’m not sure I would refer to myself as an adventurer. I’m just an ordinary girl, seeking fulfilment through other people. I was brought up to be in the background, shaping things behind the scenes.
[Lucy considers a moment] I suppose you could consider this strange universe I've fallen into quite an adventure. I've met multiple versions of my husband, who all seem to be aliens, which is very strange. I'm enjoying finding out about all sorts of things I'd never thought about before, never suspected could be real. I'm a curious person. I like to know what's going on. I don't like being kept in the dark.
1. What is your full name?
Lucy Victoria Saxon (nee Cole)
11. What does your voice sound like?
Refined. Controlled. Sometimes a little hard.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
Harry – Harold Saxon. He's an MP – Minister of Defence and running for Prime Minister. He's very good at what he does, but he does need kicking rather sometimes to make him put himself forward for things. Once he's there, he's amazing. So much charisma. People love him.
91. Do you like yourself?
Yes, most of the time. Occasionally, I disappoint myself by being weaker than I would like.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
I don’t have pockets, I have a handbag. And that’s the sort of information a lady doesn’t disclose.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I would like people to remember like they remember queens: as someone with poise and power.
43. What are your political views?
[Lucy gives a small, slightly mischievous smile.] Vote Saxon!

Depends whether you’re talking about growing up as a human or as a vampire… As a human: my Mum. As a vampire: Angelus.
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
Think that was when Dru was set up by that mob in Prague. Left her so weak, they did. Thought I’d lost her at first. Thought I’d go out of my mind with worry.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
I want to live forever. What? I’ve got to answer the question? ’Kay then: in a great big fight with a really impressive demon. Or a Slayer. Don’t want to be felled by just anyone.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Fucking and biting are good. I like movies too.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Oh, introvert, definitely. Bleeding wallflower, me. [Spike laughs]
8. To which social class do you belong?
Now? I’m working class, mate. Originally, I was a toff. Don’t tell anyone, though. Never live it down, would I? Not part of the image any more.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
My Mum, yeah. The vampire ‘family’? Not so much. Well, got on with Dru, obviously – she was my sire and I loved her. But Angelus and Darla? A few collisions there. A few power struggles. Took a while to work it all out between us.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
[Spike snorts loudly] What d’you think, love? [Sobers quickly] Actually, if you must know, I was a virgin ’fore I was turned. Dru was my first. And Angelus for the other thing – you know.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
[Another snort] Er – yeah. I kill. Well, did, 'fore the fucking Initiative got to me and did something to me so I can't kill anymore. Can't even hurt anyone anymore.
[Spike considers the second part to the question, head on one side] Won't let anyone kill a friend of mine. Got to have loyalty. Even for a vamp, killing's not always indiscriminate.
81. How do you deal with stress?
Badly. Finding something to fuck usually helps. Or bite. Both work. Failing that, a lot of ranting and raving and throwing things.

[The Doctor stares and gives a brittle laugh] I've just shared Jack's pain as that bitch of a human the Master married killed him ten times. I think that might have been a little shocking.
[He takes a deep breath, rubs a hand through his hair, and starts again] All right. Let me try that again. What shocks or offends me? Um. Jack?
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
Oh, all sorts of things. Early human theories about time travel make particularly amusing reading.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
I wouldn't say I'm an adventurer as such. I'm just really bad at staying in one place. And I seem to have this talent for finding trouble. And fixing it, of course.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
Ooh, that's a tough one. At this instant, I think the prize goes to Lucy Saxon, but there have been lots of contenders over the years.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Saving the world – oh – a few hundred times. [Mutters] Not the Gallifrey thing. Definitely not the Gallifrey thing.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Well, sometimes I argue, but mostly I just run. It's simpler.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
Oh, friends are complicated. I mean, I've always got a companion or two travelling with me. Jack and Martha right now. Not sure I'd call them strictly friends, though. [The Doctor gives an enigmatic look] Course, I used to have a best friend. But he's doing his best right now to destroy everything I love and he's really not the man I once knew. [He looks as if he's going to say more, but just trails off and stares into the distance]
98. What three words best describe your personality?
Quixotic, manic and brilliant.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
Of course I don't!
2. Where and when were you born?
That would be Gallifrey. A very, very long time ago.
no subject
Er. Not very. Doesn't help that they're all dead, of course.
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
I don't think I'd have survived this long if I was pessimistic.
16. What is your earliest memory?
Phew. That's… [The Doctor squints] You really expect me to remember back that far? What? If I can't remember, it's not my earliest memory? Oh. Good point.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
Jack's always entertaining… [The Doctor winks and smirks a bit]
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Amazing, annoying, ambiguous
86. What is your greatest weakness?
Um. He's dead. Can we leave it at that, please?
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good at: Saving the world, problem-solving, um… Have I got to have three?
I'm not bad at anything. Well. Maybe staying in one place?
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
This regeneration? I'm rude.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
I'm seeing a bit of a theme to these questions.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I'd still like to be ginger at some point.
