I'm home alone for the afternoon, because our office is moving out over the weekend and they'd disconnected our computers and there was no work we could do so I took the afternoon off, and Mum said she'd expected to have Jack anyway so she'd have him even though I wasn't at work!
So I have the house to myself until c. 5.00 when I'll go and get Jack, I'm role-playing with Becky, I should be starting a new Spike/Lane thread with Nuptse sometime soon, and in between I'm actually feeling like doing housework. I've got a saucepan on the stove with homemade tomato sauce simmering away, some for tonight and the rest to go in little freezer bags in the freezer for pasta/pizza/whatever, and I feel all domesticated and content.
A breath of calm before the storm of plunging into getting the house-selling/buying stuff sorted out. :-)
