I have a new computer at work! It's really fast and it has XP on it!

On the other hand, it doesn't seem to have IE with tabs, which I'm a bit confused about, and they've managed to wipe all my favourites. But still - FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And our team have been awarded a £10 Marks & Spencers voucher each for exemplary performance. That's quite something coming from the County Council! *g*

Yeah, it's nice. It's very nice.

Except the favourites, and losing my macros and autotext and settings in Word, and my settings in our digital dictation programme, and the new keyboard which is too squidgey and doesn't make enough noise when you press the keys, and...

Oh, God forbid we be allowed to do ANYTHING by ourselves at work, no. Hey, I'm lucky to have got XP, even if IE 7 doesn't come with it. Everyone else in my office is still on the last version.

M&S is a department store - groceries downstairs (I sometimes get their sandwiches or salads for lunch when I'm feeling to lazy to make my own) and clothes and homewares upstairs. I certainly won't have a problem spending £10 there. *g*

Tbh the favourites were only my main page here, Whoville and the Whoville out of character site - don't think there's anything particularly dodgy there, especially as I'm not exactly writing a lot of porn these days! *g*

Yeah, about that. *g* And I seriously doubt the Council's actually paying for all of that £10. They did some sort of deal with M&S. :-)
