Jack's been doing some very cute things lately so here's the most recent list:
1. On Sunday we took him to a local park (one of those with a stately home at the centre, but the stately home is now used for weddings, and the odd film, while the part hosts music festivals and Scouting jamborees etc.). My parents used to take me there when I was little, and we came to this little wall beside a ditch (a ha-ha, for those who know the correct term *g*) that I used to walk along and I said, "Oooh, couple of years, he'll be having fun walking along there!" Immediately after which, Jack decided he wanted to walk along it already! Three times! It was SO cute. (There is video footage, but I'll have to wait for Andy to download it.)
2. Also at the park, there was a manhole cover on a bit of a mound, and it rocked when you stood on it. Jack stood on it for ages, doing his stamping dancing, and then Andy joined him doing mock Irish dancing, so of course I had to do some to show them how it was done properly, and anyway, we all had a whale of a time!
3. Last night, Jack decided he wanted to look at some photo albums and we came to the photos of our cats when we first got them at 9 weeks old - oh, they were so tiny and cute! Anyway, Jack was all squeally and obviously thought they were really cute too, which I wasn't quite expecting - and then he kept bending down to kiss the photos!
So that's the latest catalogue of cuteness. I'm sure there'll be more to come. :-)
In other news, chapter 10 of Master Plan is at 2,773 words and coming on nicely. I pretty much know where I'm going with it now and just need to flesh it out, including the beginning, and I also know what the next chapter's going to be about!!!
I also have a REALLY sore throat and bad sinuses and LOADS of SNOT, but I'm not sure it's actually a cold because I don't actually feel ILL, so I will be going to work today and hope that it all just blows over.
