Really, really tired today - went to bed early but still couldn't sleep - and feeling all shaky and can't-cope. Plus there's no work to do at work and I could really do with the distraction to be honest.

Anyone got any (work-safe) suggestions to occupy myself? Memes? Questions? Jokes? Hey, even drabble prompts might get considered. :-)

ETA: One drabble done (in comments) - any more prompts?

Gah, feeling much the same even though I have stuff to write for uni :/

Tried a very hot and sickly sweet cup of tea yet?

Fiddling with scientific definitions trying to sound smart is even worse than fiddling with fic *headdesks*

Going to drink that tea for you, then ;)

Drabble prompt, you say? Hmm... *ponders*

Doctor/Jack, something to do with, um, cake? Yeah, I'm tired too.

It must be something about today - I'm completely knackered this morning and wandered round town in a complete daze.

If you want gentle games to play, try Orisinal, for entertainment value, try Newsbiscuit and for sheer weirdness, try this one.

Hope the day gets better!

Hope you have better luck; I'm giving up (which might have something to do with living on nothing but tea at the moment... meh...)

Food's sadly no option, been on fluids for 2 days now. Stupid stomach :/

Prompts... prompts....

Hell, I'll go for something of a theme in the prompts I've given you...

Jack and Lorne, before Nine sings for Lorne. Beyond that, up to you.

Aw, that's nice of you :) I'm not that great with even prompts at the moment, though, but I am a sucker for Hurt/comfort ;)

*Grins* fantastic! The Doctor being happy that Jack's older than him amuses me. And the end! Yay.

I hate being stuck at work when there is no work to do, I tend to go through my memoried stories and reread them when that happens (reading Jades's Waiting/Watching years series can eat up a lot of work time- but in a good way)

Hee - shall I just do 'the entire cast of Dr Who meets Lorne' as a series? *g*

*snerk* Sure! *grins* Sounds like an excellent idea. *giggles* Rose, Martha, the Master, Mickey... And Torchwood! Owen and Ianto and Gwen and Tosh and Suzie....

Ack, choosing a song for Jack is really hard! Even S1 Jack - there are just so many that fit!

*chews on lip* Isn't he, though? Mmm... *goes to think of songs she'd associate with Jack*

Hooray for the double drabble!
Thursday, January 3rd, 2008 04:47 pm (UTC)
*beams* I intend to.

blow me *snerk*

it is VERY Jack.

Since when was the Doctor only 903? In "Empty Child" Nine talks about 900 years of phonebox travel.

Ah, haven't seen Votd yet. Congrats on making it through work. I'm just leaving home to start work myself

I love older!Jack. He's fascinating. That's, um, one of my pet storylines if I ever get to write for the show when I'm older. I have several.

But yes! Going to read it again now, I was in a rush earlier. And I'm very glad your brain is less dead than you though!

Are you feeling better this evening?
