God, they certainly had the stars in this one, didn't they? Stephen Fry, Alex Winter, French Stewart...Actually, I spent the whole episode looking out for French Stewart and couldn't spot him. IMDB tells me he was Isaac???? I totally didn't recognise him! I'll have to have another peek now!
A somewhat different episode in that there was almost no interaction between Bones and Booth, which is usually the focus. I assume DB was doing something else that week so that his scenes needed to be shot separately.
I have to admit that I couldn't stand Stephen Fry's character in this. I know he was just doing his job, but he was so terribly condescending, so rude! I guess it didn't help, either, that I couldn't stop thinking of Guise Will Be Guise (Angel 2.6 for the unitiated) and the fake swami in that! Anyway, I thought DB did a great job with the acting in the final scene where he admitted he didn't know if he'd let Epps fall or not.
I liked the chemistry between Bones and Sully. He seemed a bit weedy at first, but he grew on me. I hope we'll be seeing him again. Well, I guess we will if he's going to be dating Bones.
Apart from that, I loved the music coming from inside the crocodile, though I wasn't sure what it was coming from - was that a radio? I did think they might as well have gone the whole hog and had a ticking alarm clock!
