The Devil's Hour

Just finished this last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it so very pleased to hear there are another two seasons planned! I watched it because of Peter Capaldi, because whilst I adored him as the Doctor I've hardly seen him in anything else (mainly Torchwood), and he certainly lived up to expectations. What a thoroughly accomplished actor.

I also thought Jessica Raine's performance was amazing. I enjoyed her in An Adventure in Space and Time and Hide, but this was something else. What a role!

Everyone else was really good too, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the twists and turns of the plot in true Moffat fashion. Very well-written and produced, and I'm looking forward to more!

I really like dit too - it was probably one of the best shows I've watched this year - and am very glad that it's getting more seasons because of the ending. If you want to see Capaldi in something with a similar dynamic (in a non-fantasy/scifi setting), I recommend checking out Field of Blood.
