I really, really enjoyed this. I'm a very visual person so I don't generally get on well with audio-only productions, but this was great!

I loved the humour – there were at least three occasions when I giggled like mad, one of which was when Jack was asking Tyler and the alien lady if they wanted coffee in a Scottish accent, and I just *knew* it was him! (To be fair, I've heard JB's Scottish accent a lot more than Tyler had, plus I knew Jack hadn't stayed dead…)

I really liked Tyler – he seems like a really interesting character and it's nice to have someone really clever and also a bit of a bad boy but also as good as fucking things up as any of the original TW team – he'll fit in perfectly. :-)

Colchester – can't exactly say I *liked* him but he's a fascinating character that I'm looking forward to getting to know better – seems like there's a lot of depth there too to explore in the future.

Loved Tyler looking for a hook-up online, and of course Wingman42 was going to be Jack! Fantastic entrance for Jack in this one, and lovely to 'see' him back to his best here.

Gwen… I got a bit confused at the start because it was obviously supposed to be Gwen (and I loved the idea of her being Tyler's introduction to TW in direct contrast to Everything Changes when she was the newbie) but it didn't sound quite right and that made me question everything. Having Googled a bit, I understand that a lot of it wasn't actually Eve Myles and there's something about her being possessed by someone else, so that kind of makes sense of that, both in-universe and in real life, but it did throw me quite a lot!

Apart from that, though, I found this audio somehow a lot easier to follow than some of the others. I often have problems following the action, or working out who's speaking, but this didn't suffer in that way – perhaps because the pacing was a little slower due to it being part of a series not a one-off. It also felt exactly like a TV episode of Torchwood, and that was brilliant.

Generally, I thought the whole thing was a fascinating set-up for the series. The characters are interesting, the plot is interesting, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing (or hearing!) where this one goes!

P.S. Further Googling reveals I met Colchester previously in The Torchwood Archive, but I honestly don't remember that. I spent most of that story *completely* confused and with no idea what was going on. Perhaps I'll have to have another listen…
