I really liked it. I wasn't blown away, but then I rarely am by a new Doctor, as I seem to take time to get to grips with them, but I suspect that when I come back to this episode knowing Thirteen I will love it. :-)
I do like Jodie Whittaker. I haven't seen her in anything before and I haven't watched many trailers or interviews etc. because I like to come to an episode fresh, but I definitely warmed to her a lot. She felt like the Doctor. Possibly a little too nice, so far, possibly playing it a little safe, but I'm sure that'll change as she settles into her skin!
The one thing that did bug me was that, however hard I try to avoid spoilers, I did know who the new companions were to be (or at least that it was Bradley Walsh, a young black man and a young Indian woman) so it was painfully obvious right from the start that something nasty was going to happen to Grace. Which was a shame, as she was a lovely character, but it was hard to care that she died when it was obvious that she was going to. Shame I hadn't gone into it like I went into the first episode of Buffy, knowing absolutely nothing and thus Jesse's death coming as a great big shock.
But generally? I enjoyed it, and am definitely looking forward to more!
