The Woman In the Sand (Bones 2.8)

Had this one lined up to watch and enjoyed the last one so much I decided to watch this before I get caught up on Lost.

I felt this was very slow to start – I really don’t like these episodes where they split the gang up, because you lose the chemistry these actors have with each other – but the second half just zipped along.

 

I adored Bones as ‘Roxy’. I don’t think it was particularly in character that she could act that well, but she looked very hot and was funny too. (ED is so beautiful, but in a way that you don’t really notice at first.) And Booth fighting…well, I can’t stand watching fighting like that (too much blood – eugh!) but it was nice for DB to have a chance to fight again!

 

Fantastic scene between Hodgins and Zack, with Hodgins winding Zack up until he hit him. Lovely vibe between these two.

Nice little scene with Angela and the girl fighter.  Angela's so sweet, you can see why they always send her in to get information out of these people!

 

And I liked the two fights, one real, one virtual, playing at the same time, with the gang’s reactions. Nicely done.
