Made by chatona as a Christmas (I think) present for me, several years ago. I was starting to write Spike in fic and preparing to RP him and asked for icons. Chatona made me this one and also the one that became my default icon my RP Spike for ages.



Made by sarah_jones. Found, I think, via one of the comms, probably when I was looking for Jack icons from Utopia. I just thought it was a really beautiful picture of Freema and also so very, very Jack.



Made by laurab1. There's a matching one for the Jack/Rose kiss and both are just really beautiful in the lighting and cropping etc. Plus very useful for when I'm talking about either 'ship. :-)

Made by nilhuanwen. A pretty recent addition to the collection, found when looking for more Master icons for RP. (Are you seeing a theme here?) It's a very evocative picture, one of those that makes you think, and wonder what was going through the Master's head at that point.



Made by lilies_pad. Again, found whilst looking for RP icons and used for RP while I was still playing Lucy. This interpretation of Lucy - looking strong and aloof and sexy - is, interestingly, very much the Lucy I got from Vae playing her briefly before I brought in my AU version; it was Vae who led me to look at the layers beneath the surface in Lucy and see more than just what was obvious. Of course, most of those layers have been Jossed, imo, by The End of Time, since that strongly implies that she really was just a poor little beaten-up wife, but I still love strong, devious, cunning Lucy and much prefer that version!

I couldn't resist when I saw you had a Lucy icon - that character still fascinates me, so many layers going on, but she scares the hell out of me to RP.

Yeah, she still fascinates me too and my Master has actually had some really good threads with the Lucy in his new game too. I haven't actually played canon!Lucy myself - I think my AU version was a bit milder - but yeah, I think it might scare me too. After all, the Master's evil, but he's alien (and most of it is just him being really needy about the Doctor anyway). Lucy is human, and that makes it so much more.
