Eek! This is precisely the kind of thing I do to laptops. Actually, it's much gentler than the kind of thing I do to laptops. Which is why I no longer have a laptop. 4 on 6 years was enough.
Yeah, I chucked water over a keyboard at work once and it worked for a while and then one by one the keys stopped working... :-(
Amazingly, this morning, my laptop seems to be fine! *crosses fingers* I'm going to put it down to being married to an IT man who immediately put it in the sun to dry and told me to leave it to dry out completely before turning it on again. :-)
